Every Bone Hollow Studio home is an opportunity to show that new construction can have soul, warmth, and a defined sense of place. Guided by an appreciation for materiality, a sensitivity to the natural landscape, and an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, Erika Brown creates homes that honor the past while feeling effortlessly suited to contemporary life in the Hudson Valley.

Erika Brown
Growing up in Berlin, Erika was surrounded by historic structures shaped from humble, enduring materials that stood the test of time. That early appreciation for permanence, patina, and the quiet beauty of well-made things informs the way she approaches home building today.

Years spent in commercial production honed her ability to translate an idea into reality while leading teams toward a shared vision. Her work in development and fundraising sharpened her instinct for building something from nothing, an idea, a case, the belief of others, long before any ground is broken. Together, these experiences became a quiet preparation for the work she does today, one rooted in collaboration over competition, materiality over trend, and craftsmanship over speed.

Every Bone Hollow home is approached as a personal endeavor: thoughtfully conceived, purposefully built, and shaped with care at every turn.

Sense of Place
Exceptional Craft
With a deep respect for the land and rural character of the Hudson Valley, we design homes that belong in their setting rather than impose upon it. Every site-specific home is designed to have space, privacy, and a lasting connection to the surrounding landscape.
Our homes evoke the warmth and nostalgia of a beloved old house, paired with the ease, comfort, and functionality of new construction. We are meticulous about materials, uncompromising in our standards, and work closely with trusted trades to bring each home to life with integrity and care.
